Normen und Projekte zum Thema Nanotechnologie
Im DIN ist die Normungsarbeit auf dem Gebiet der Nanotechnologien Aufgabe eines Arbeitsausschusses im Fachbereich 8 des Normenausschusses Materialprüfung (NMP). Der Arbeitsausschuss „Nanotechnologien“ (NA 062-08-17 AA) begleitet die europäischen und internationalen Normungsaktivitäten in CEN Technical Committee 352 und ISO Technical Committee 229. Daran beteiligt sind über 40 Experten aus Industrie, Forschung und Staat. Die aktuellen Projekte ISO IEC/TS 80004-5 „Nanotechnologies - Terminology and definitions - Part 5: Nanostructured materials“ und ISO 12025 „Nanomaterials - General framework for determining nanoparticle content in nanomaterials by generation of aerosols“ werden auf Vorschlag von Deutschland und unter deutscher Leitung erarbeitet.
